I just wanted to take the time to say that I’m really excited about tonight’s Creation. I’ve been looking forward to it since Juli told me about it last week. I had a long post but I didn’t want to spoil it for anyone. Stay tuned for a pretty awesome Creations Weekly tonight.
I finally mustered the motivation to change my notification tones on my cellphone today. As much as I enjoy the mechanical “Droid” chime, I needed something more me. Where did I go? Video game tones. I ended up with the tried but true Metal Gear Solid Codec sound for general notifactions and an amputated Lutece Twins tune for text messages.
Andrew talks about how awesome Darksiders 1 was in his Darksiders 2 Review.
Actual reviews, more Creations, and another Confession will be posted this week to keep you entertained throughout Independence Day. Plus details on the Nerd Holiday Juli and I are starting and how you can be a part of it.
If I had a beer for every beer I spilled on my keyboard when I’m writing these late night posts, I’d have no keyboard. Every site and critic was applying the label liberally and I disagreed humbly with all of them. And by “humbly” I mean I went to every site
Below this wall of text, I’m linking you all to a solid series of streams featuring the Walking Dead game developed by Telltale Games. It does have spoilers. In fact, it’s basically just the developers playing the game and spoiling it and providing commentary the entire time. It’s a great watch. Play the games first if you haven’t. If you
I agree with much of what Juli said. I especially agree that Advent Children is a successful video game movie. I think it worked so well because it just picked up where the game left off. It didn’t bother dumbing down and retelling a narrative that was already experienced (and experienced is a key word here). The characters were already
