Minecrap (See what I did there?)
I am not a fan of Minecraft. That’s putting it lightly. Let me rephrase:
I fucking despise the piece of shit game.
It’s all the worst parts of an MMO, with deliberately bad graphics passed off as nostalgia, and a community comprised largely of children and auts.
Basically Minecraft is an excuse to build a gigantic dick online to brag about after exhausting countless hours farming. Zombies called Creepers are thrown in because, well, zombies sell things. No story. No art. Just self ePeen pleasuring for hours on end.
The worst part of the entire thing. More enraging than the fact that the game is an incomplete MMO marketed to children, is the fact that people had to pay to play the alpha. It’s basically one of the games most responsible for this current pay for “early access” (i.e. glorified beta testing).
This game was kept afloat by gullible gamers paying to alpha test some nostalgia cash-in. When it was about to die out they realized that children are really good at getting their parents to buy them every last piece of cross-marketing paraphernalia possible.
I could rage for hours but I have a picture that pretty much sums up my feelings.
The game sucks and is made out of dicks.
The perfect visual metaphor. Minecraft is just fucking you.
Just because it’s plush, it doesn’t make it right
