Been playing a lot of The Last of Us and I also happen to be a pretty big Green Bay Packers fan.
Joel has quickly topped my list of favorite video game bad asses. A list graced by such greats as Glenn, Cloud Strife, Solid Snake, and Leon S Kennedy. So much of what makes him awesome is that the bulk of his character is hinted at. Most of it goes unexplained. Unexplained until now

After retiring from the NFL, legendary Green Bay Quarterback, Brett Favre takes on an alias to escape media controversy that came about late in his career. Then the apocalypse hits and he uses his geographical knowledge (acquired from Globetrotting as a Packer) and his “Iron Man” endurance to escort the Savior of Humanity, Ellie, to safety.
