Alan Wake – Finally Reviewed
Hello everyone!
So it’s been a while since my last review. I won’t make excuses. Reality and free-lance work have delayed this longer than it should’ve. After much adieu the Alan Wake Review is finished. You may notice that it’s a normal sized review. It did not start this way. I had to trim it down from the volume of praise it began as.
Overwhelming praise aside, this review was difficult to write. There were many opportunities for spoilers. I avoided all spoilers, don’t worry, but I’m afraid tip-toeing around them made the review somewhat lighter than I wanted.
It’s times like these I want a forum to discuss reviews. Alan Wake is a good game. A rare review of a game I would consider a favorite. I hope I did it justice. I hope there’s enough here to help you formulate an opinion on whether or not you’ll like it. That is, after all, the goal of a critic. To steer you towards quality and away from crap.
