Afro Samurai the video game was a good game by any measure. Beyond that it had a more interesting story and told it better than the source material. How many things converted from one medium to another can boast that? There aren’t many. Usually the book is better than the movie based on it. I’m still waiting for video game movie better than the game…
One of the best parts about the Afro Samurai game… and I really do commend the story (it’s dark and dripping with emotion)… is the soundtrack. Here’s one of my favorites:
