Update on my Hiatus
This last month has been a tumultuous one (as my life often is) and I’ve had little time for video games. My family and I have spent the last month looking for a new place to live under less than ideal circumstances. Crisis averted, abode found. But it may be a bit before I post anything of substance on the site. What little extra time I have goes to my book – the rest is family and packing.
In the meantime, check out Wildstar. I did manage to sneak some time in during the open beta (and closed for that matter). It’s a beautiful game (visually) with an abundance of style. As far as the gameplay… yes it’s WoW again. No, seriously, that’s a good thing. It reminds me of the best of vanilla WoW with some modernizations and subtle changes (changing environments, map hazards, humorx2) to really round it out into an experience worth having. I haven’t hit any “end game” yet and for me, the hardcore progression raider, that’s where a game is made or broken… so update on that to come.
In the mean time, game on Winsomniacs. I’ll be back soon.
